Lets say the prospect did meet at ALL the qualifications mentioned in the qualification section 1 TIM 3: 8-13. KJV If there was any other Qualification or disqualification reasons such as a man being divorced. If it is a DISQUALIECATION why is it NOT written in the QUALIFICATION section 1 TIM 3: 8-13. Remember

This is a simple question. Either YES or NO. IAW King James Version of the Holey Bible.

Can a divorced Man become a Deacon????? ! THI 3:8-13 under the qualification of deacon there is no mention what so ever of divorce. I read it as There is two types of men in a church: Either a married man or a single man & if the single man decides to take a wife he can ONLY take one... Is there any one out there in cyber world or simply explained.com agree with me. If a Divorced Man was or is ineligible why wasn't it put in the QUALIFICATION section?

How do we understand chapters 1 and 2 of Genesis if we are to take them literally? In Gen.1 man was created after the animals while in Gen. 2 animals were created after man. Then one of these has to be false. Can this be so? I like to believe that the Bible is true.

Circumcision was practiced for millennia among the ancient people in Africa and Australia long before the practice started in West Asia presumably in the time of the patriarch Abraham. But this was never practiced in ancient (or modern) Asia, Europe or America. Can some one say something about this?

2 men.... The 1st man is kind, loving and caring, has done no wrong only good in is life but this man does not believe in Jesus/God. The 2nd man is a bad man he's stole, raped women and even murdered but this man believes in Jesus/God. So which man will go to heaven and which man will go to hell? The kind, loving and caring man who has done no wrong only good in is life will he go to hell because he doesnt believe in Jesus/God? The man who's stole raped and murded will he go to heaven because he does believe in Jesus/God?

Surely this is not right?

I was shopping at the weekend, I sat down on a bench in the town centre when I heard a man preaching about God. I believe in God but basically what this man was saying that if you don't you'll go straight to hell forever. My Grandad was a lovely kind man but didn't believe. I'd hate to think if this man was right?

Anyway, to my question: where in scripture would this fellow have found specific prohibition of that aspect of the gay lifestyle? I thought I heard previously the bible was at best ambiguous on the matter. Could there be any doubt with the interpretation (or translation)?

Sorry to bother you all with this, I don’t own a bible myself. The government here slapped a tax on bibles - I assume to dissuade people from owning them. I shall continue to get all I need from the Internet – until they decide that is bad for us too.
