I found someones lost Nokia N73 mobile phone a while back. I took it home so I could have a go at ringing some of the numbers in the contacts list to find out the owner and return it asap. Unfortunately when I got back the battery was already dead. I didn't know what else to do so I let it lie in my desk draw for the last two years! Recently I saw a charger in a car boot sale which I thought would fit the phone (which it did thank god!) so I bought it and charged the phone up with the intention of keeping the phone for myself as my own phone is broken.

Unfortunately I discovered a security pin lock thing on the phone and I dunno what to do. Can anyone help please? x

ps I wanna keep my sim card from my old phone so I dont need any codes for unlocking that. I just wanna get passed the security pin code on the phone.

Am I entitled to a refund on second-hand goods? I bought a second-hand mobile phone with a one month shop warranty. It is not working properly and keeps turning off, even after long periods of charge. The shop checked it out and said it was working, but it is not working all of the time, it is not working most of the time actually. The shop say they do not give refunds and it is their policy and we can't do anything about it. Is there a law that says I am entitled to a refund that I can quote to them?
