Am I entitled to a refund on second-hand goods? I bought a second-hand mobile phone with a one month shop warranty. It is not working properly and keeps turning off, even after long periods of charge. The shop checked it out and said it was working, but it is not working all of the time, it is not working most of the time actually. The shop say they do not give refunds and it is their policy and we can't do anything about it. Is there a law that says I am entitled to a refund that I can quote to them?

Most all modern cell phones have a built-in GPS function, including mine. There's two options for it, 'ON' and '911 ONLY'. '911 Only' I can understand--you call 911 and they get the GPS reading so they can find you. But exactly who is receiving all the information about my position if I switch the GPS to the 'ON' setting?

I would love to save my cellphone's contacts. I'm using Erisson W800i. Then even if I change my cellphone or lost it, I still have my contacts in a safe place.

What software can I use to accomplish this? I still have the bundled softwares that comes with my cellphone but I don't think any of them can save/restore my contacts.

How can I get my cell phone to screen out all calls that originate from a phone number listed as "Private"? I have Verizion Wireless. They were not only unable to provide a solution but were unable to understand the question. Their explanation was as detailed as "Landlines are different from cell phones" Duh! Certainly this is not a phone feature but should be a service feature.
