TRADITIONS IN INDIA - Indian husband kills (burns) his wife after marriage. Not for moral reasons, not because he learned something bad about her, not for dowry or financial reasons, not because of something she did. He planned to kill her even before the wedding. He has deep motive. He is not punished. How is this explained?

Timendi causa est nescire, I would like to know what that Seneca quote would be substituting in "we" or "us or "people" in for "ignorance", "we are the cause of fear" or "I am the cause of fear" or "people are the cause of fear" or "fear is caused by people" I don't know how it would be worded.

Mr Warren Ingalls
With 27 million human slaves working around the world, one must ask "What people would allow such a thing?" I asked myself that question. There is no religion that forbids it. Ghandhi himself addressed it in his lifetime. "There is no shame in being a slave, there is only shame in owning a slave." But still there is no religion set against it. There are only ideals. Even in countries that have such ideals, there is still slavery. Which countries are free from slavery not just by law but by actual absence of slavery and a population that abhors the idea? Don't say U.S.A. I know that one is a current slave country. http://freetheslaves.net
