And some are mental,
But the one that is both

I have a serious case of localized periodontitis. I am attending a dental school and get the feeling that the cost or work is too much for them to handle. I need a pro- bono dentist. I can afford some but not all due to the extent of the bone and gum loss. I am desperate. I live in PA, single parent and I work directly with the public. The front teeth are ready to fall out. Thanks, Cindy

Hi could anyone advise me please had my 3 front upper teeth removed about 4weeks ago and a denture in straight away. I have been doing all that my dentist told me like rinsing with salt water not leaving the denture out for to long. Yet I still have this nasty taste all the time even straight after cleaning and using mouthwash! I also have noticed that in one of the tooth socket there is like a reddish yellowing jelly forming could this be the start of an abscess? I am in no pain but then again I have no nerve or root left in so would I feel pain in it anyway? I would be grateful for any help or advice with this.

I got my #19 tooth pulled on Wed. The clot is in the socket, but there is a soft white layer over it. I don't know what the healing process looks like, and don't know if maybe it is food that I need to get out of there. I took a syringe with salt water and squirted it, but it loosely moved. What should I do? thanks!

I would like to know if you have any advice for my tooth. My tooth is cracked (hairline) in half and aside from that I have a cavity on that same tooth and the pain is extremely severe. I was given Amoxicillian today and Vicodin prescribed by a dentist but, It doesn't seem to be working. Have you any home remedies I can try?

I have had bruxism for 8 months now, I have seen two specialists, one fitted me with a gum shield that made me clench harder and the second gave me relaxation techniques to do, I had previously had hypnotherapy to try to learn these relaxation techniques but it did not work for me, I explained this to the specialist but he told me to try them again, as expected it has not worked for me. I have also tried temazapam as a muscle relaxant that has also not worked, I am getting desperate, is there anything else out there that works or am I just destined to damage and eventually lose my teeth? I will try anything.

I had a lot of work done at a dentist about two years ago, because I was so frightened of going(hence the build up of things needed to get done) I opted to be sedated. I should of had a root canal done and then a crown put in, but instead of the crown he just filled the tooth, which left me with about 85-90% filling in this one tooth..I didn't think this was right but he assured me I didn't need the crown after all. Since then the inside half of the shell of a tooth has fallen out which has left me with a lot of exposed filling, which is slightly loose and a tiny fragment of tooth on the outside edge of my jaw. I am now gearing myself up to visit another dentist...do I prepare myself for a crown or would it all have to be taken out and Id have to get a false one of some kind? if so what would that entail?
