I had this weird dream last night and I wondered if it meant something. I dreamed that me and my girlfriend were going to the same college. It wasn't a very good college and I had never heard of it or ever been to it in my life. In the dream I was sat by her during a lecture and this good looking girl in front of me turns around and starts flirting with me. My girlfriend tells her to get lost and puts her arm around me, but then the girl kisses me. To show that I am in love with my girlfriend I put my arm around her and kiss her on the forehead so that the other knows I am not interested. Then me and my girlfriend start to kiss romantically and then she suddenly turns into a turkey sandwich. Which for some reason I start to eat. At that moment I woke up. I was quite disturbed by the dream as I am very much in love with my girlfriend and would never wanna lose her or be with another woman. Does/could this dream mean something subconsciously?

I believe that when I sleep I'm in a totally different world. I like to have fun in my dreams and do extraordinary things. How do I choose what I want my dream to be about? Also how do I control myself fully in dreamland? Please don't think this is a stupid question I just was wondering. I need an answer as fast as possible.

In a dream a couple days back I saw my mother who has passed away for 10 years now.. She was standing with her hair hanging loose and long down to her knees and weird part 1..she was combing them by bringing her hair over her face.. Now weird part 2.. I went to her and started climbing up her hair.. weird part 3.. I fell down as my hands slipped from her hair and woke up with a violent thud as if I had actually fallen.. I woke totally dazed as the fall seemed very real..Later as I recall her whole body was wrapped with her hair except for her face and I dont recall much after that.. To give a background about my mom she had really beautiful thick long hair down to her knees but not like what I saw in the dream.. she lost them to cancer before she died.. but that was 10 years ago .. why did I get such a weird dream after so long? Another thing that was strange was my mother never wore her hair loose.. always in a bun or it was braided.. At home she wore her hair loose but never let us touch or play with her hair.. very strange..

I always thought that when you dream you dream through the night, but recently I got told that you only dream in the morning just before you wake up. If this is true then does it sometimes feel like it was in the middle of the night and not just say an hour ago??

About two weeks ago I had a dream that I was in a city with a lot of tall buildings around me and these huge tidal waves kept coming towards me. When I seen the tidal wave I would immediately run for safety and after every wave I would end up OK........... then last night I had another dream about a tidal wave on a road in the area I live, but this time I wasn't running away from it, I was going towards it, but it never got me. I cant actually remember the second that the waves got to me, as I got to to where the waves where coming from there was a platform with railings around it. The waves were coming from a river. I got up on the platform and I was holding onto the railings, then another wave came. When the wave got to me it didn't hit me, instead it went right over my head and it was kind of floating over my head like a dome of water. As it was floating over me I heard a deep heavy voice but I cant remember what the voice said. What does this dream mean?

I have had a dream a couple days ago where I got raped by a coworker (not some general coworker, but a specific person) and that it made me so crazy that I was put into the mental ward because I would freak out at any sight of a guy and then I was cured, or at least getting there near the end when they decided to put me in a room with guys and video games, and insisted I play with them, what happened is that I got distracted by the game, and forgot all about the guys... and now the first and second time I have worked with that guy since the dream, I just can't stand it when he touches me in friendship (you know, pat on back and such) I would get an instance of fear then rage, and then I would realize it was just a dream and carry on, so to satisfy my curiosity, is the dream a trigger to the uncomfortability with this person, or is it just an echo of what I unconsciously was already feeling, and my dream just brought it forth into the forefront of my thoughts?

I have heard of the 'future implicit in the past' explanation for apparent precognitive dreaming before, but have never experienced (and recalled) a dream episode fitting this criterion myself. Could you relate a couple of typical and unequivocal actual cases to clarify my understanding? Thanks

I suspect that when some image appears in a dream, if first impression of its identity is mistaken (and one interprets a family of hedgehogs as brown pots, or vice versa, for instance), the mistake takes root, and from that point on the mistake becomes the reality within the dream and the dream proceeds accordingly. Is there a proven technique for keeping dreams 'untainted', whether or not one is able to enter a fully 'lucid dream' state? Worp

I had a dream about following a bunch of small children down an alley in some 3rd world country. I found an old woman picking up sleeping children from this dark alley and taking them inside. I continue down the alleyway...first thing I see in this darkened alley is the feet of a small child and as I come closer I see more of the child. The body has been ripped apart with guts etc all over the place. I look up and see the dark shadow of a man who looks at me with red eyes. What does this mean?

My question has to do with a dream that I had last night. I am watering my garden. A friend of mine keeps kinking the hose which stops the water flow, however, it is done all in fun and I am not irritated at all. I continue watering and I notice that I have multiple beds and each bed is sand. The sand in each bed is coloured differently so that I can easily identify which plants are growing there. The ones that are predominant in the dream are Pink and Blue. In the pink bed, there are vibrant green plants growing, however, they are small. In the blue bed, there are plants growing, however, they are not as vibrantly green as the pink bed. What could this mean?

For ten years, I have had recurring dreams of a tidal wave breaking on me. This pre-dates the Asian Tsunami. The wave is always freakishly outsize and extremely ominous/malevolent. In the dream, I feel terror. Like dreams of falling, the wave never actually breaks. I always end up okay (or wake up). What's all that about, then?

Miss Amy Lee
I am 30yrs old & have lived a very hard but lived life. I am mother of two and because of some bad choices I've made my children do not live with me. My son 10yrs lives with my mom and daughter 5yrs lives with her dad (my husband), both live in another state. I do have a lot on my mind and am under a great deal of stress. There can be days when I don't know where I will lay my head for the night let alone eat. This is because I refuse to live with my mother. I want to show her I can make it without her help. Which brings me to my problem, I keep having these horrible dreams that I am being choked or smothered by someone or thing It is pitched black in my dreams and I am aware of the fact that I am dreaming. When this dream occurs I struggle to breath and just to wake up. I never seem to have any of my motor skills. And that scares me most. These dreams usually starts within the first 5 mins of me falling asleep. I want to say seconds. I can have a dream where this is happening, wake up terrified, finally go back to sleep, only to have the dream all over again. One night I had the dream about 4-5 different times. I loose a lot of sleep this way because I am afraid of my dreams and wonder what they mean and why am I having them????Can you please help???? Thanks, Loosing Sleep
