Mr charles p
I have a new, innovative, and novel idea/invention. I am looking to find someone who will take it forward to the market. The idea has been written up, and was filed at the UK Patent office some while ago. Thereafter I ran out of steam, so to speak, and to date it is still in the box!! Anyway to cut to the chase, I have now regained my enthusiasm, and am now looking for someone who is trustworthy, honest, and has a good reputation in the marketing field. I have a prototype which requires some slight modifications. The invention relates to the rambling/walking fraternity. However I am advised the application is workable in many other areas. I have looked at companies on the internet but find it a bit confusing, recommendations therefore are very welcome. Any help would be great. Regards.

I am looking at starting a new courier/delivery business. I am single parent on pension at moment and have debts to my name and to the centrelink (Australian government funded department), but cannot seem to find the right job to fit in with kids at daycare hours and a job that will pay enough to try and eliminate my debts hence why I have opted to start my own business. Is this advisable or even possible in my situation?

I have a formal letter of appointment awarding me the rights to operate a food franchise in a social club, the premises are owned by a masonic organisation who have decided to to close the club halfway through my advertised trading hours on a Saturday which is my busiest day, without any formal notice or consultation with myself. I stand to lose a considerable amount of money by their actions and they are also bringing in a separate catering contractor to provide food for their function even though I pay rent for the lease of the club kitchen. Where do I stand on this matter, are they in breach of my letter of appointment and can I legally invoice them for lost income based on my average weekly takings? thanks a lot for your help.

I am wanting to buy goods off one Internet site and sell in another in my country NZ as a small money maker. I have found some products on one site that are at REALLY good prices and can probably if legit make me a lot of money. The thing is is that this seller is not from NZ but lives in Ogden ut84403 USA which means if this guy is legit I would not no. How can I find out if this is a scam or not. I obviously cannot view products before depositing money. I can give the NZ auction site if needed as well as they have left an email address on the auction site for contact which I can name if needed. PLEASE HELP

I remember watching an interview once with Bernard Mathews, the successful turkey farmer. In the interview he went on to say that he never actually borrowed any money whilst building his business; basically he started off with a batch of eggs - the eggs hatched into turkeys and the turkeys laid more eggs giving him more than he had before which then produced more turkeys and so on. Is this true and if so what other entrepreneurs have been successful without ever having to borrow a single penny to build their businesses?

I understand now that you can take a degree in entrepreneurship at least here in the UK. My question is can you learn to be an entrepreneur, after all my idea of an entrepreneur is someone who by his/her very nature doesn't conform to the norm and makes his own rules and is willing to take a risk come what may?

I am working on a web-based software solution for a known food-service industry need. Being young and, relatively, financially destitute, I do not really have the money to get the idea off the ground. What do I need to find send funding? Is a complete business plan necessary? (I'm a techie without much experience writing such documents.) If so, does anybody know of a good place to find guidance for creating such documentation? If not, what would be the process to find investors and what kind of investors should I pursue?
