Is lithium 8.4g seroquel XL 4200mg chlorpromazine 1500mg codeine 210g Lorazapam 76mg likely to be really dangerous or just make her quite sick? Hello,

I have had shingles twice in the past before and each time have had a cluster of blisters, sore skin, swollen glands - both occasions I have been extremely run down and depressed. I think I have it again as I am going through a period of depression at the moment, however I only have 1 blister that has appeared which was slightly red and burny - I noticed this 2 days ago and keep checking to see if a further rash has developed but it hasn't - so can you have shingles and only display one blister ?

Hi, I am thinking about having Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Laser Hair Removal on my face, and I'd like to know the risks involved and whether my skin tone is suitable for the procedure.

I am half Middle-Eastern and half Mediterranean and so have quite olivey skin. I tan easily and can keep my tan for long periods of time (once tanned, I generally keep it and top it up year on year). I'm worried about possible risks of skin discolouration as well as scarring, and even whether this procedure may be carcinogenic (cancer causing)? I do tend to scar fairly easily, and these scars tend to worsen in the sun (i.e. become darker). However, when I stay out of the sun and exfoliate a lot, and especially in winter, i can become quite pale if I try! Along with dark hairs, I thought that my complexion might be suitable for IPL hair removal...but I'm just not sure. I'm not sure if my skin tone is being considered properly by the beautician I'm planning on having the procedure done with. Can anyone help?!

Also, if you have any reviews or comments about the Destination Skin company (formally known as the White Light Company) I'd appreciate your feedback as to whether it is a reputable company.

Is it heat rash? Has anyone else had something like this?

For the third time my skin has broken out with this mystery. The first two times it happened after bathing or taking a shower and yesterday it just happened... It starts with a few bumps on my stomach and then after scratching I'll have spots on my legs, arms, chest, butt and face. It doesnt cover up my body completely but I'll end up with at least ten spot on each part of my body (minus palms, soles and private) It itches and after scratching a spot my whole body gets this tingly, prickly, burning type sensation. And its like every time I scratch one spot three or more NEW spots pop up close to the old one. From the knee down usually stays redor flushed looking, and it usually last 24-48 hours.

Ive read the symptoms and looked at pics of heat rash;lots of my symptoms match but not the pics. My bumps or spots whatever you want to call them aren't clustered together just close together, they look like little red dots surrounded by a palish-whitish circle and centimeter big or smaller, and when I break I get new spots poppin up in the same exact place thy pooped up before in previous breakout.

Also, and this may just be the ice breaking fact; after my first outbreak I ended up getting a huge oh so sore boil on the back of the top part of my leg that ended up being MRSA.

Sorry this has been so long but I thought it'd help to explain as much as I could.

Is it heat rash?

About a year ago, I had an op to remove a ganglion from my right wrist. I play the violin and my doctor believed that caused the ganglion to develop. Unfortunately, the ganglion returned shortly after the op and is now even bigger than before. I have tried "resting" my right hand but the ganglion has remained just as large. My doctor doesnt recommend another surgery or draining it due to risk of it becoming infected? What are your thoughts on the best way for me to treat this problem and can you suggest any better/alternative ways to treat it? Thank you.

My 20 month old daughter seems to be continuously sick. She has had raised lymph nodes since 9 months of age. She also gets high fevers- sometimes with out any other obvious symptoms. Recently she spiked high temperature every night for three weeks (one ending in a febrile convulsion). She hardly eats anything (however still is breastfed and has not lost weight). She also has a recurring tongue lesion. The GP suggested wheat intolerance, I am happy to give this a go but want to make sure it is not something more serious. Any medical advice from a doctor or paediatrician would be great!
