My web pages are very slow at downloading and I even have to re-enter my details in order for the Internet to begin as it has crashed. I feal I might have picked up a virus which although not stopping the computer has lessened its efficiency. Will a new hard drive bring it up to scratch.

My machine is an E-Machine 530,windows xp,850 ram.

Own a small business and run it from home via the Internet. I have broadband and a wireless router, thus enabling me to stay connected to the Internet around the house and in the garden. However, when I go on holiday I find it impossible to find WiFi Hotspots where I can access the Internet via my laptop for free. I don't really understand wireless networking but I wanted to know if there is a really powerful router that would let me access my own network everywhere in the world or something like that? thanks

I am having network connection problems with a webcam connected via a 3g toggle thingy. I have no problems otherwise ie normal connections just with the 3g. I feel it may not be fast enough!! The sound connection is fine, but as soon as I try to link video it cuts me off. Any help would be appreciated. Regards.

In a mysql database one of the cells in the table contain a value like "potato, potatoes, app,apple"

I want to select from database where the coloumn contain potatoes. For this I use a wild card %,potatoes,%.....But while checking for potato. I can not do it because there is no coma before potato. Also I can not use a wildcard like the one used above. The solution I found is to add a coma at the begenning and at the end...My question is is there any method to select it without adding unwanted comas in database? ..Or ..can I set a condition that if data=",".$data."," and then selecting. Is any such conditional queries possible with mysql?

Ive registered a new blog at blogger beta(http://beta.blogger.com)..later I noticed that they include a metatag like ..I am not allowed to edit it..They may be doing it in order to prevent spam logs..What I need to know is...what does this metacontent actually mean?..will it prevent indexing and following of internal links(to the same website) or just external links?..will it affect the PageRank of my site in Google and Yahoo?

I have a PhpBB2 board on my site. It takes administrative approval before someone is allowed to post.

I am constantly running into a problem, however, with scurrlious people listing obscene websites on the profile page.

I'm notified by email when someone registers and eliminate them manually from the site, as quickly as I can. Unfortunately, sometimes a couple hours pass by before I am alerted to their presence.

It sickens me that unsuspecting visitors might be subjected to some of these pornography links. Is there any code, or any way to prevent website links from being displayed inside the profile page?
