Maths Philosophy:

1+1+1.... repeatedly suggests that there is no such thing as a highest number (call it N) since I can say NN = N + 1.

Yet 1 divided 0 MUST be the highest number.

How do I reconcile N = 1/0, yet NN = (1/0) + 1

What happens to your body if you only eat corn? My students and I were discussing how our bodies do not digest corn and that is why whole kernels appear in our feces. One of them proposed the aforementioned question and I am very curious. Would you not be able to defecate at all, or would it just be a "log of corn"? I apologize if this question is offensive, we were just really curious and I could not find a definitive answer on-line.

Hi, I recently bought a 1930s drinks, tea trolley with Ranleigh embossed on the metal, at a Garage sale.

On the side of the trolley there is an engraving on the metal that reads like this.

19-4-52 Won By Mr. D.H. Dixon's bg HIGHCLERE.

The trolley is in excellent condition.

I've been trying to find some information about the Tattersalls Cup and the origin of this trolley was it given to some one as a like a trophy? Any light on this would be appreciated. Thank you. Hannele. Australia

I was on my way to work early one morning (about twenty to seven) I think it was around April May time and I am sure I seen a black panther in a field about 60 yards away from me. It was far to big for a domestic cat and it was definitely not a dog. It was moving slowly slinking from side to side the movement was exactly the same as I have seen wild cats move on TV. What was it doing there?

This happened about 6 years ago. I later discovered in the local paper there was a similar sighting of a black panther in the same area as I had seen it. Again this was very early in the morning and about the same time of year. I have since heard there has been other sightings.

I am confident that what I saw was a black panther. What other unusual sightings of animals have there been in the UK and has any body been lucky enough to be able to photograph them?
