I'm having a few problems with my 6mth old patterdale puppy. I've only had him 3wks now, I've manage to house train him but I need abit of help with a few problems 1. When I take Max for a walk on his lead he gets really stubborn, (ie) if I want to walk right he'll decide he wants to go left when I won't let him he'll sit down and won't budge. I've tried pulling him but he's determined not to move, the other day he even done it in the middle of the road because I wouldn't stop to let him sniff abit of rubbish. I've tried everything to stop him doing it, I've tried treats and just dragging him. I pulled his collar over his head and he ran off and wouldn't come back to me. I just don't know want to do? 2. I can't get him to drop, he tries to eat everything & anything. Its worse when were outside because he tries to eat bits of wood. I've even had to put my hand right down his mouth to pull something out. I'm worried one day I won't be quick enough and he'll choke. Apart from a couple of problems he's good really, he's my baby and I love him to bits. Any help and advice will be much appreciated. Nikki.

I live in an upstairs flat, I have no garden or area for my pup to go out, I do live right near a big playing field and take him out 5/6 during the day. I had no intention of getting a dog, I saw that he was being really badly treated and just had to take him. I've fallen in love with him now and want to keep him. The problem is because I live in a flat I'm finding it hard house training him. We've had quite a few accidents. I know it will get better but has anyone got any tips? Thanks! Nikki.

I have a six month old house rabbit who is very active and has always loved his food. I put him to bed on Friday night, got up Saturday morning to give him his food (which normally he can't wait for), put his food down, and he wasn't interested at all. This has now gone on for three days, where he hasn't touched his food at all. He is eating a little bit of hay, and cabbage. And seems to want to eat everything except his food- like wood, paper, cardboard and even the litter in his litter tray- which he has never taken a liking for before. I've checked his teeth, and they seem fine. He is still passing droppings normally, drinking and playing as normal. But seems to really want to eat paper and wood. Why would he suddenly go off his food? Should I be taking him to the vets soon?

I have 3 turtles. I have a male red eared slider, a female spotted turtle and a male spotted turtle. It seems like the male red eared slider and the female spotted turtle are trying to mate all the time. They are separated in a 50 gallon tank by a screen divider. The red eared slider is vibrating it's fingernails in the females face, so both the turtles spend all day face to face against the screen divider, always trying to mate, I think... I used to have a female red eared slider too, and I've seen her & the male mate, so I know what it looks like. Can a male red eared slider and a female spotted turtle mate and have babies, should I put them together? Or not? Also, my male spotted turtle used to try to mate with the female constantly, but she bit his eye badly, and he stopped. This is when the red eared slider and the female spotted started to be interested in each other. I have no idea what's going on in there, lol.
