I watched the 9 ball pool world championships on SKY TV a couple of months ago and found it very entertaining. Its a different game to what we normally play in the UK. I was very surprised to see Steve Davis who used to be world champion in snooker take part in the tournament (I didn't think he played pool.) The round I watched he got beat.

My question is how do professional snooker players usually fare in these type of pool tournaments, do they ever win?
