I am running out of ideas on what is wrong with my K 3500. The truck is overheating and I can't figure out why. I have changed recently the starter, alternator and tensioner system. It has a new belt, which I have rechecked to make sure it is routed properly. The last oil change was done at the time it was overheating, and the oil pan was dropped at this time, I had no water/antifreeze in it so I don't believe it is a head leak. All the hoses are new and are not cracked so I am not leaking there. And I have just put in a new performance thermostat. I am running out of options and I do not want to pull the engine and start from scratch. I wasn't planning on pulling the engine for at least one more year. Any help on why I am overheating? It has me stumped. Thanks.

I have an 89 K 3500, which recently has had a few problems. I had starting and power problems. After taking off the starter which was fine I found that my main power line was pinched at the block. I replaced the power wire and a new ground wire off of an optima red-top. I then replaced the serpentine belt that was starting to show signs of wear and the alternator which had a frozen bearing, and a tensioner that had a small crack in the casting. Now I have an overheating issue, and don't know what is causing the fault. I started the truck set my rpms at 2000, popped the hood and just watched. There was no leaks in the radiator or any lines. The water pump seems to be working though I am not 100% positive. However after about 15 minutes it started boiling over and coming out of the overflow tank. Is this a thermostat issue or something else? Thank you for your help.

The front bumper on my 05 Chevy silverado was pushed in about 2.5 inches on the passenger side after a small collision with a dumpster. Is this something that can be fixed simply by realigning the bumper or would there be mount damage etc?? the bumper has no visible damage to it other than the alignment issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
