Can anyone assist??

I have recently purchased a Nikon coolpix 4500 to use for digi scoping. I am trying to access (continuous) in the Shooting mode! When I scroll down using the paddle, the cursor flips from metering, to image Adjustment, missing Continuous mode!! Am I doing something wrong??? Pleeeeease help.

This will only make sense to anyone who owns a Coolpix 4500 so I apologise for the gobbledegook if you haven't got one.
