At an interview how should I answer the question:

"TELL ME SOMETHING ABOUT YOURSELF?"

This is one of those "lets see how you tick" questions. Don't allow yourself to waffle, talk for ages and say nothing type of thing. Highlight some of your interests and why they appeal to you is one way of answering. If successful memories from your previous job spring to mind then use those instead but whatever happens try and be confident and upbeat. Don't mention any negative items unless you know how to word them safely.

Remember the golden rule about interviews: You want to leave them with a positive impression about you regardless if you think that you've got the job or not!

Take care
