I'm studying for my bachelors degree in human services with a major in psychology. What would be the best road to take to further my ed. and give me better opportunities after my bachelors?

If you want to go into full time clinical work consider going for the PsyD. If you want to go into the research field or teaching psychology, go for the PhD. There are many cases where you can skip the masters and go directly for the doctorate, it is dependent on the university. However, I would strongly advise against it in that you have the research and writing practice during your masters, then the doctorate writing could be less painful.
