As per my experience I will tell some few benefits regarding family health insurance.
1.Cashless settlement of claims is a primary benefit of this policy. This means that the insurance company will pay the hospital directly, and the insured need not spend anything out of his pocket.
2.Basic family health insurance coverage includes costs of medical care and treatment of ailments and accidents that need hospitalization for a period of more than 24hrs. This includes coverage of Pre hospitalization and Post hospitalization expenses for 30 days and 60 days respectively.
